It’s still winter here. I keep holding my breath every time I check the weather online knowing that our first “real” snowfall can happen any day. We’ve had a couple of light snowfalls but nothing that has really “stuck.”
I call myself a Warm Weather Girl, but the truth is I was born in Canada. My excuse is that we moved to South Florida when I was still in High School and my blood never got a chance to fully “thicken.” 😉
When walking around outside with my camera this afternoon I was shocked to see little leaves from my daffodils and hyacinths popping up from the ground! There have been a few warm days here making my bulbs think that it’s time to poke their little heads up!
As I continued to walk I took a close look at the trees. Sure enough, buds were beginning to form there too! Everywhere I looked plants and trees were preparing for spring.
When I think of spring I think of new beginnings. A fresh start. A chance to grow, spread my wings, and thrive!
You don’t have to wait until spring for your new beginning. Just look at Mother Nature!
Every day that you wake up is a new beginning, a new day just waiting for you to start a project you’ve been avoiding, lace up those running shoes like you’ve been telling yourself you will, or take the first step towards breaking a bad habit.
